Ramos PublishingTM was created to give Belizeans an outlet to produce their literary works, at home, through economical means.
The publishing house was created in January 2005 by Adele O. Ramos, a Belizean who has worked for many years as a journalist with Belize's leading newspaper, the Amandala. Ramos wanted to set up an establishment through which she could publish some of her other writings, but her larger vision is to give people, young and old, the opportunity to have a voice in print.
Though it is a young business, Ramos Publishing has pledged to donate a portion of each of its publications to schools, as its contribution towards education.
